What is Mohs Surgery?
Mohs surgery is a precise surgical technique used to treat skin cancer. During Mohs surgery, thin layers of cancer-containing skin are progressively removed and examined until only cancer-free tissue remains.
The procedure is done in stages, including lab work, while the patient waits. This allows for the removal of all cancerous cells while sparing healthy tissue and leaving the smallest possible scar.

Mohs Surgery Now Available at 152 Harley Street
Mohs micrographic surgery is now being offered at the Skin Inspection clinic, located at 152 Harley Street. This highly specialised technique is particularly effective for treating basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma.
Referrals are welcome for patients who may benefit from Mohs surgery. Prior to scheduling surgery, a consultation is required to assess whether Mohs is the most appropriate treatment option. During this visit, the lesion will be examined, reconstructive options will be discussed if needed, and the procedure will be fully explained to the patient.
Following the consultation, our administrative team will assist in arranging the surgical appointment.
