Initial Consultation
During your initial consultation, our dermatologists will assess your moles or skin lesion. This allows them to identify any signs of concern regarding the moles or lesion and allow them to determine the correct course of removal treatment.
Removal
Following your initial consultation, our expert dermatologists will perform surgery if needed or wanted, which we would remove the moles or skin lesion based on the most recommended removal treatment determined in the initial consultation.
Examination
Following the removal of the moles or skin lesion, the excisions are sent for a histopathology analysis, and your dermatologist will explain your results in plain English and in writing.

Some skin lesions, like seborrhoeic keratosis and warts, can look like moless but they are not moless. Our consultant dermatologists assess the lesion using dermoscopy to know exactly what it is. They can remove lesions other than moless in the consultation room with liquid nitrogen. It is a procedure called cryotherapy that freezes the lesion to make it disappear. Please note that in those cases we are not freezing moless, we are removing warts or seborrhoeic keratosis with cryotherapy. In some cases, moles skin tag removal can be undertaken with cryotherapy.
If appropriate, we can provide procedures on the same day as the consultation, getting our patients peace of mind faster. All excisions are sent for a histopathology analysis, and your dermatologist will explain your results in plain English and in writing.

Moles removal price
The private moles removal price varies depending on the nature of the lesion. The cost has two components: Skin55 fees to cover the theatre costs, pathology services, etc., and the Consultant fees for other procedures. We are registered with all main private medical insurers including BUPA moles removal, Axa, Aviva, Cigna, Vitality, Allianz, etc.

Laser moles removal
We do not offer laser moles removal because it does not allow the analysis of the sample through a biopsy. At Skin Inspection we follow the best medical practices whereby all removed moless are subject to a biopsy to rule out the presence of malignant or cancerous cells.
We have a theatre on the premises where your consultant dermatologist will perform your moles removal or other procedure, sometimes on the same day as your consultation. We provide ultra-modern moles removal, which will be analysed by a histopathologist and the consultant dermatologist. Full Body Moles and Skin Cancer Screening
Using the latest technology to take images of the whole skin surface from head to toe.
Results are stored digitally to establish a baseline for future observation. Patients will receive a systematic full body dermoscopy examination. We take digital dermoscopic images of some moless.
The consultant dermatologist personally examines the patient and selects which moless need to have more detailed monitoring.
