I’m an HR Director and know only too well how rare it is to have ‘Specialist’ bods who have within their tool box, effective generalist skills. My experience of him yesterday evidenced the very best of ‘handy work’ alongside a really easy, personable and engaging manner. He’s a great communicator, he actively listens ( and in doing so, ‘responds’ in a way that inspires confidence ), he’s empathic and he ‘gets on with it’, all with a subtle ‘purpose’ and focus ! I particularly appreciated too, him being able to share experiences of Africa which was nicely indulgent for all of us and ( for me ! ), suitably distracting. He is grounded & authentic.
Katie ( the attending Nurse ) was really excellent too ; such a calming authority and an obviously decent human being. Her ability to ‘connect’ was impressive and she blended very cleverly the ‘technical medical’ with free-flowing, every day conversation. I loved the dynamic between George as ‘the Boss’ and Katie as ‘the Assistant’. Their mutual respect was obvious and there was a terrific sense of equality. No ugly or awkward hierarchy…which even in 2023 is something that cannot be taken as written !

I choose this clinic because of many good reviews. When I booked the appointment I had to wait for two weeks. One week before the appointment, they asked me if I could move the appointment. I wanted to do the check as soon as possible but researching another doctor was also inconvenient therefore I agreed. One day before the next appointment (at this time I already have waited 3 weeks) they called me and told me they had to postpone for another week because the doctor caught Corona. I asked them to move me to another doctor but they said that there was no appointment available except the one week later. In my opinion they should have given me some sort of priority as they had already postpone me before. I cancelled the appointment. I can not say anything about the service they provide but they have cost me 3 weeks. read less

The clinic contacted me on 10 march asking if they could move my appointment to earlier that day as they had to accommodate other patients. which i said yes. Then they contacted me again today, saying they need to rearrange it to 4 April without any explanations. I’m sure there are reasons behind it but it does feel a little unprofessional especially for a medical practice when the appointment has been made in advance. Due to health reasons I go to different clinics regularly, a lot of the practices are often fully booked and very busy, but they have never asked me repeatedly to reschedule. I had to cancel my appointment as I already have other arrangements planned for the future weeks. read less

Following the latest announcement of lockdown throughout the UK, we would like to inform you that we are remaining open. It is essential for all new or changing moles to be examined as soon as possible, as early detection is key in reducing skin cancer mortality.
We are offering limited availability for in-person consultations at Harley Street. Our leading team of healthcare professionals are following all UK government guidelines to ensure that your consultation is Covid-19 secure.
For general dermatology consultations (i.e. eczema, acne, etc.) we are also offering remote video consultations via our TeleHealth feature. If you are interested in a remote consultation, please email us at info@skininspection.co.uk with a description of the condition so we can confirm that a video conference would be appropriate.
We are following the advice from the Government and Public Health England to make sure we do the right thing for everyone in our community. At the moment, we do not know how long these measures will be in place. We will update you as soon as we know more.
