My name is Sam, and I have been working as a Dermatology nurse for over 10 years.
I qualified as a Staff nurse in 2015 from the University of Bedfordshire and picked up my career in Dermatology, treating patients with skin cancers and various other skin conditions.
I worked my way up the career ladder in my department. For the past three years, I have been a Band 7 Surgical Nurse Practitioner, operating on up to 50 patients a week for the NHS. I am also a trained Mohs Micrographic Surgery scrub nurse.
I currently work partly in NHS and Private practice, and I enjoy the variety and range of different lesions that both areas offer. I am trained in all aspects of Dermatology treatments, such as cryotherapy and treatment for alopecia and keloid scarring, but my passion lies within surgery.
